VIDEO EDITOR

Responsibilities:
- Edit scenes from filmed sources, in single or multi-camera;
- Create dynamic trailers;
- Create promotional clips, which are used on social networks: BTS, GIFs, tube clips, etc. ;
- Add titles, music, sound effects, and color adjustment techniques to enhance productions;
- Synchronize unsynchronized videos and transcode video formats when necessary;
- Export the videos;
- Comply with clients’ publishing standards for product quality and marketing strategy;
- Ensure that time estimates and post-production deadlines are respected;
Skills and Competencies:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a video editor;
- Training in multimedia, video production, and/or cinema;
- Good knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro software;
- Basic knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop;
- Experience with image correction techniques (calibration and image sharpness);
- Animation of logos and transition effects for branding;
- Knowledge of the various industry “codecs” and formats for video encoding;
- Bilingual: spoken, and written (English and French).
